Gynophobia

Gynophobia, or gynephobia, is a morbid and irrational fear of women, a type of specific social phobia found in both ancient mythology and modern cases. It should not generally be confused with misogyny, the hatred, contempt for and prejudice against women, though the two terms are sometimes used interchangeably. Gynophobia is analogous to androphobia, the extreme or irrational fear of men, and caligynephobia, the fear of beautiful women specifically, is considered a subset of it.
