Phasmophobia

Phasmophobia is the fear of ghosts, a specific phobia centered on the belief or possibility of encountering a supernatural apparition. It can produce anxiety in dark, unfamiliar or reputedly haunted places, and unlike an animal or situational phobia its trigger is a culturally transmitted belief rather than a physical stimulus, which makes reassurance alone a less effective treatment approach on its own.
