Equinophobia

Equinophobia, or hippophobia, is a psychological fear of horses, whose sufferers may also fear other hoofed animals such as donkeys and mules. The term equinophobia derives from the Ancient Greek phobos, fear, combined with the Latin equus, horse, while hippophobia derives the same Greek root combined with the Greek hippos, horse; an example of the phobia appears in Sigmund Freud's psychoanalytic study of Little Hans.
