Cyberphobia

Cyberphobia is an irrational or disproportionate fear of computers and digital technology, first named in 1985 and also known as logizomechanophobia. People with cyberphobia avoid learning new technologies and can show physical symptoms such as sweating and a racing heartbeat when faced with a computer, often because they doubt their own competence to use one, fear a computer will take their job, or worry that their data is being collected and misused. It is treated as a specific phobia in its own right, with researchers developing dedicated measures such as the Cyber-Paranoia and Fear Scale to study it.
