Clara E. Hill

Clara E. Hill is an American professor of psychology specializing in counseling psychology, dreamwork and psychotherapy research who has served on the faculty at the University of Maryland, College Park since 1974. She developed procedures for examining moment-by-moment interactions between counselor and client and established novel techniques in dreamwork, and she served as the 1995 president of the Society for Psychotherapy Research and as editor of the Journal of Counseling Psychology from 1994 to 1999.
