Geoffrey Franklin Miller is an American evolutionary psychologist and associate professor at the University of New Mexico whose research examines how mate selection shaped human evolution, including traits such as art, morality, language and creativity as possible fitness indicators. He earned his doctorate in cognitive psychology from Stanford University in 1993 and is the author of The Mating Mind (2000) and Spent (2009).
