Todd Shackelford

Todd Kennedy Shackelford is an American psychologist and professor at Oakland University, where he has chaired the psychology department since 2010, best known for his work in evolutionary psychology. He is editor-in-chief of the academic journals Evolutionary Psychology and Evolutionary Psychological Science, created the doctoral program in evolutionary psychology at Florida Atlantic University, and has authored or co-authored more than 200 academic journal articles and edited roughly fifteen handbooks and collections on topics including sexual conflict, violence, family psychology and morality.
