Randy Borum is a board-certified forensic psychologist and professor at the University of South Florida, where he has taught since 1999, specializing in terrorism assessment, violent extremism and risk analysis. He developed structured violence-risk assessment tools including the Structured Assessment of Violence Risk in Youth, has served as a senior consultant to the United States Secret Service, and has advised the FBI's Behavioral Analysis Unit and National Center for the Analysis of Violent Crime across roughly 160 professional publications.
