Sarah Elizabeth Marston, born Holloway, was an American attorney and psychologist who lived from 1893 to 1993. Working alongside her husband William Moulton Marston, she is credited with developing the systolic blood pressure test used to detect deception, the technique that became the basis of the modern polygraph. She is also considered, together with Olive Byrne, a life partner of the couple, an inspiration for the Wonder Woman character her husband created.
