Branch of psychology places a school of thought within the wider field it belongs to. Wikipedia notes that behaviorism, formed by John B. Watson, "was popularized by B. F. Skinner through operant conditioning," a later development within the same broad field. Browsing by branch shows which broader area of psychology a school of thought grew from.
