Social and Interpersonal Phobias

A specific phobia or closely related anxiety centered on other people, social evaluation or a category of person, distinguished from social anxiety disorder in general by often naming a more specific trigger such as public speaking, a particular group of people, or being watched. This group gathers the social and interpersonal phobias recorded under Psychology's Specific Phobias group, including fears of public speaking, of specific categories of person, of intimacy or commitment, and of being observed or judged, alongside culturally specific social fear syndromes documented in the clinical literature.
