Perceptual Disorders

A recognized clinical or neurological condition in which a person's perception, recognition or spatial orientation is disrupted, distinguishing a perceptual disorder from an ordinary sensory illusion by its basis in a documented clinical or neuropsychological condition rather than a normal perceptual quirk shared by everyone. This group gathers the perceptual disorders recorded for this atlas, covering documented conditions of disordered recognition, spatial disorientation and related perceptual dysfunction.
