Deborah Louise Feltz is an American kinesiologist and sport psychologist whose research examines self-efficacy, anxiety and their effects on athletic performance. She joined Michigan State University's Department of Kinesiology in 1980, later becoming professor and chairperson, and she developed models and measurement tools for collective and coaching efficacy, including the Coaching Efficacy Scale-II, while also studying gender differences and team dynamics in sport.
