Theories and Concepts

Groups the atlas's psychological theories and concepts, the explanatory accounts and mechanisms the field has proposed for mind and behavior, subdivided by the branch of psychology each theory is principally associated with. Contested theories and unresolved debates, such as the rival explanations different schools offer for the same phenomenon, are named honestly as debated rather than settled. It deliberately excludes the landmark studies that tested a theory, filed under studies and experiments instead, and the diagnosed medical conditions a theory might explain psychologically, which stay Medicine's own entities under the atlas's medicine seam.
