In diffusion of innovation theory, pro-innovation bias is the belief that an innovation should be adopted throughout a society exactly as it is, without any need for it to be altered. A person or organization strongly biased in favor of an innovation, sometimes called its champion, can become unable to see the innovation's limitations or weaknesses and continues promoting it regardless.
