James Cantor

James M. Cantor is an American-Canadian clinical psychologist and sexologist who specializes in hypersexuality and paraphilias. A former senior scientist at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health in Toronto, he served as editor-in-chief of the journal Sexual Abuse from 2010 to 2014. His research into brain differences in people with pedophilia has been cited as evidence that the condition is not chosen and that those who have it are likely born with it.
